Jeff, Susan and Jenna were the Ambassador Family for this year's Williamsport March for Babies, which was held on Saturday, April 30th. The morning started out rather chilly and overcast, but by the time the walk kicked off at 10:00, the clouds had broken and the sun was shining through.
Team Graciebelle had more active participants this year than last year. Jeff, Susan and Jenna anchored the team and were joined by Jeff's brothers, parents and nephew; Susan's father, step-mom and uncle; friends of Jeff's dad - the Hopwood family; our little friend Lauren and Susan's friend, Jen. Sadly, our friend Terri was not able to join us this year.
Our original fund raising goal was $5000, and two weeks before the walk it looked like we were going to come up short. Even just 16 short hours before the walk, we thought that we might hit $4500, but $5000 seemed out of the question. Thanks to the tremendous last minute (well, last few days) fund raising effort on the part of Jeff's brother, Kip, we reached and surpassed our goal of $5000. At last tally, our total donation amount was $5260.31. I cannot tell you how much that thrills us!!
We are setting the bar higher for next year - check back later to see how much money we would like to raise! In the meantime, here are a few pictures from the walk.

March For Babies 2010
2010 was our first March for Babies. We signed up late and didn't really have it together - we had just enough time to get team shirts made. We were joined by Jeff's parents, Susan's father and step-mom, our little friend Lauren and our friend Terri. Our fund raising efforts were slim, and we raised just over $1500.
